• Join us for a cast and crew reunion to celebrate the new friends and memories we made On the Road. We will be having an I've Been Everywhere Potluck, where you can sign up to bring a main or side dish from various countries.
• Click on this link to sign up for the Potluck Signup. You don’t have to put what you are bringing just sign up for what kind of food you are planning.
• If you are interested in doing a 2 minute performance at the party please let me know by Wednesday 3/21, so I can hold a spot for you. Performers will need to provide their own costumes and props, the stake will provide audio equipment. 
•  Examples of performances: Parker Jacobs doing Rock-a-My-Soul, the Tech crew performing Every Girl Can be a Princess.

Great Job Last Night!

Dear Cast:

Good job last night!!!  And the audience loved you again!  

Call time tonight is no later than 6:00 pm.  Cast Meeting (this is for all cast members) at 6:45 in the chapel.

• Many missed the cast mtg.  We gave new info on the finale.  OOPS!!!  Please attend so you can get the latest news

 A couple of notes to make every show and number awesome as we enter the last weekend:

 EVERYONE

• More energy, especially on group numbers!  There has got to be electricity coming from the stage.  BE present in your numbers.  We can tell if you are just going through the motions.  Exaggerate.  If you think you are, then do MORE. Smile :)  Show BIG personality.
• Costumes---Really take a look in a mirror before you get on stage.  Make sure everything is in place, take glasses off if you possibly can, darker than normal lipstick for females, is your hair right for the number, etc.  Check each other.  Look great when you are on stage!
• Cast meeting. Be there.  Not kidding.  Many are not present and missing important info.  
• Entrances and exits --- quick and quiet is the key!
• Good job keeping the hallways clear!  It is important and we thank you for helping each other by allowing space to travel in the hallways. 

TEENS

• Proud Mary - Reminder that boys and girls are all to wear LONG black pants (no capri's or leggings), black shoes, black socks.  Black shirts (any style is fine).  Not Kidding!  
• More Proud Mary - There are about 20 of you giving fantastic performances... everyone else PUMP it up!  Have fun!  And everyone sings the chorus!!!  Show personality at the mics.
• Walking on Sunshine - ALL girls have hair bows - See Sister Peterson if you don't have anything... she already gave something to everyone.  Show BIG personality at the mics, you can move your arms and show life, just keep your mouth at the mic.  Smiling is a must in this number!!!  

CHILDREN

• Sing loudly!!!  You look adorable, and now we want to hear you too :)
• Munchkins - please show excitement and energy all the way through the number.  Be excited and happy!

TICKETS

• Every show still has plenty of tickets to sell!  Have you invited everyone you know.  Your teacher, the mailman.  How about people in your ward.  
• There are still members who don't really know what's going on... make sure they know you are in it and you want them to come.

SHOW SHIRTS

• They are almost gone... still some left :)

Enjoy On the Road over and over again with your very own DVD of the show.  The DVD will feature the entire performance including both casts. DVDs will be available for pick up in 8-10 weeks or you can have yours mailed to you for an extra $3.

Pictures

Send in your pictures from the show so they can be included in the presentation at the Cast Party. You can email them, give a cd of them at the performance or let me know if you posted any on Facebook.

A Note to the Cast and Crew

What a wonderful job you all have done!!!  The audience loves the show, the energy, the talent and dedication from each of you.  It's been so fun to hear from them what their favorite numbers are.  It is amazing that every number has been mentioned by someone as "the one" that was best.  We as directors are delighted with your performances.  Each show continues to get better and better.  What a wonderful accomplishment to have success because everyone has worked so hard.  We can't stop smiling!

Hopefully everyone is able to get some much needed rest in the next couple of days...

Here is some IMPORTANT information:

• As you probably heard, Wednesday, March 14 at 7pm is a performance; $5 open seating, no pre-sale.  Hopefully this date is already on your calendar, as it was listed in the info packet.

• Ages 6-11 will perform as a Cast A night - Princesses and Kangaroos.  Cast B will be doing Munchkinland. 

• If any children ages 6 - 11 are not able to be at this performance, please call Tina (949) 922-6333 as soon as possible so we can make any adjustments necessary.  Also once you child's numbers are finished; you may take them home before the finale if you wish on this night.

• Small World Children:  Parents this performance is optional.  It can be Cast A or Cast B.  If your child is available to perform, please contact Amber Pitt (714) 968-7097 right away, so we are sure to have enough kids for this number.

• Teens - let us know if you cannot be in attendance. You can leave as soon as Proud Mary is done.

• Adults - If you cannot attend and you have a lead role or solo please inform your choreographer or Tina, so we can make the adjustments.

• Crew members - please let Diane know asap if you cannot be there. (714) 839-2585

• The size of the audience is going to depend on the cast to get the word out.  It is much more fun to perform to a good sized audience, so let's fill it. 

TICKETS

• There are tickets available for EVERY performance!!!  Please encourage your friends, people in your ward, people from other stakes to see it before it is gone.

SHOW DVD

• Order forms will be at each performance.  $22 DVD; $29 Blue Ray
• Recording of the shows will be Saturday, March 17 at both shows.

STRIKE AND CLEAN UP

• After the show on Sat, Mar 17, again the building will need to be cleaned and made ready for Sunday.  (Good job this past weekend!)
• During the following week there will be much work, organizing, and many hands needed to accomplish the "packing up" the show.  Please volunteer to help - contact Tiffany Damitz (714) 964-8688

We are so appreciative of everyone who have given so much.  We know it has been an incredible time commitment away from home, family, work, school work, etc.  We are grateful to all who have seen a job that needed doing and just did it.  There are so many small things that so many have accomplished.  Thank you for all the encouraging words and deeds that kept us going.  Thank you for stepping up when there was need.  Thank you for being a part of something that builds so much.  Enjoy the weekend coming up... even with shows in the future, we will never have THIS show and THIS exact cast again and these great memory making moments.

This is a great show, a fantastic cast, and we belong to a wonderful stake!   This is not one of the general church programs, but it is one of our stakes great traditions that allows us the rare opportunity to work alongside people in our stake of all ages towards a common goal.  Thank you for everything that you bring that is making our show amazing!
